This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for the Contact Mapping mobile application as well as any related website, services or applications (the “Service”). It explains how Contact Mapping, Inc. (“Contact Mapping”) may collect, use, and disclose information we obtain through the Service. This privacy policy applies to information collected by the Service and is incorporated by reference into the Contact Mapping Terms of Use (the 'Terms').  Any capitalized terms that we use in this policy are defined either here or in the Terms.

Contact Mapping lets users upload their contacts from their mobile device to the Service, and lets them add additional information to such contacts. 


We collect information from you when you: register to use and use the Service (either through our website or on the Service); upload contact information from your mobile device (“Contacts”) and otherwise communicate with or submit information or content to us.  We may collect information from you, including, but not limited to your first and last name, e-mail, login credentials, phone number, and address, if you provide it to us. We collect any Contact information you authorize us to collect, which may include names, employer information, photos, birthdates, affiliated individuals, addresses, phone numbers, etc.   If you provide us feedback or contact us via e-mail, we will collect your name and e-mail address, as well as any other content included in the e-mail, and any information that you submit to us, such as a resume.    You may also provide other optional information.  We will also collect any information you provide using our speech to text recognition functionality, and we will store any converted text.    We may also collect geolocation information at the country and/or city level. 

We collect information you post or upload through the Service, including any information, videos, memos, photos, or text you append to your Contacts (“Enhanced Contacts”), and including any postings and messages.`

If you purchase any products or services through the Service, we or our third-party partners may collect your payment card information. 

If you choose to share any Contact or Enhanced Contact information with a third party, that information will be shared with such third party.  Note that other users may share information they have collected about you. 

If you allow us access to your friends list, we may use or store that information to make your experience more social, and we may use it to allow you to invite your friends to use our Service as well as provide you with updates if and when your friends join the Service.  If you allow us access to any third party social media accounts (like Facebook or LinkedIn) we may collect information from those accounts. 


We may also collect or receive information about you from our third-party service providers, payment card processors, advertising partners, marketing companies, or other third parties.   We may add that information to information that we collect directly from you. 

We may offer third party services that can integrate with the Service, and they may provide information about you to us.  You should be aware that such third parties may handle your different differently, and you should review their policies.

Third parties (which may be other users or third-party companies, such as marketing companies, customer management companies, and marketing companies) may provide us information about you, and we may add that information to information we have collected directly.  Some of that information may include information about your social media accounts, such as Facebook and LinkedIn.


The Service collects and stores information that is generated automatically as you use it, including your preferences and anonymous usage statistics.  The Service collects comprehensive user metrics, such as how often the Service is open, how often its used, when its opened and closed, what type of Enhanced Content is created, where users use the Service, etc. (the “Use Data”).  We own all Use Data.  To make the Services more useful to you, our servers (which may be hosted by a third-party service provider) collect information from you, including browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address (a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet, which may vary from session to session), domain name, and/or a date/time stamp for your visit.  We also use Cookies (as defined below) and navigational data to gather information regarding the date and time and duration of your visit.  This information includes, without limitation, characters you type, your search and browsing history, links or profiles you click, and pages you view.  Like most Internet services, we automatically gather this information and store it in log files each time you visit our website or access your account on our network.  “Cookies” are small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing a web site.  We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our website.  Persistent Cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions.  If you choose to disable Cookies, some areas of our website or service may not work properly.

 We do not respond to browser-based "do not track" signals. Currently we do not have any third-party sites who push content to our Service. We use Google Analytics and other third-party analytics on our site. Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous traffic data to help use analyze how users use the website. The information generated by a cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the site, compiling reports on site activity for us and providing other services relating to site activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. By using the website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes described in this policy. If you have concerns relating to the usage of Google Analytics, it is possible to block Google Analytics by installing a plug-in to your browser. By using the Service, you are authorizing us to gather, parse, and retain data related to the provision of the Service.  We may also review and analyze the content of your Contacts and Enhanced Contacts (and other information provided by you) to better understand what type of information users collect and how they use such information.


We use your information to: provide you with the Service; facilitate and improve our services and create new products and services; and communicate with you. We use your information for research and marketing purposes; identify you as a user in our system; provide improved administration of our website and services; improve the quality of experience when you interact with our website and services; send you administrative e-mail notifications; respond to your inquiries; send promotional communications; send upgrades and special offers related to our services and for other marketing purposes of ours or our third party companies; make telephone calls to you, from time to time, as a part of secondary fraud protection;  and to solicit your feedback. If you provide feedback on any of our services to us, we may use such feedback for any purpose, provided we will not associate such feedback with your information. 

We may use aggregate or anonymized information (including anonymized Contact and Enhanced Contact information) for any purpose, including for marketing purposes. For clarity, we will never sell any personally identifiable Contact or Enhanced Contact information for marketing purposes. 


We may share your information: with our third-party service providers and vendors (for example, help desk support and payment card processors); to comply with legal obligations or requests from law enforcement; to protect and defend our rights and property; and with your permission. Although we currently do not have a parent company, any subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (collectively, “Affiliates”), we may in the future.  We may share some or all of your information with these Affiliates, in which case we will require our Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.  If another company acquires our company or our assets, that company will possess the information collected by it and us and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your information collected by us as described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not rent, sell, or share your personally identifiable information with nonaffiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes, unless we have your permission. Notwithstanding, we may allow access to other data collected by the Service to enable the delivery of online advertising on this website, or otherwise facilitate transmittal of information that may be useful, relevant, valuable or otherwise of interest to you.

We may offer third party services that can integrate with the Service, and we may provide them information about you.  You should be aware that such third parties may handle your data differently, and you should review their policies.

We may share aggregate or anonymized information (including anonymized Contact and Enhanced Contact information) for any purpose, including for marketing purposes. For clarity, we will never sell any personally identifiable Contact or Enhanced Contact information for marketing purposes. 



We take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. We do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure.

By using the Service or providing information to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the Service. If we learn of a security system's breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email to you.


The Service is not available to those under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18 and we do not want it. If we learn that we have collected any information from children under 13, we will promptly take steps to delete such information and terminate the child's account, subject to and in compliance with applicable law.


By using the Service, you will transfer data to the United States.

By choosing to visit the Service or otherwise provide information to us, you agree that any dispute over privacy or the terms contained in this Privacy Policy will be governed by the law of the State of Colorado and the adjudication of any disputes arising in connection with Contact Mapping or the Service will be in accordance with the Terms.

If you are visiting from the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use, please note that you are agreeing to the transfer of your information to the United States and processing globally. By providing your information you consent to any transfer and processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.


We may revise this Privacy Policy, so review it periodically. We will post any adjustments to the Privacy Policy on this web page, and the revised version will be effective when it is posted. If you are concerned about how your information is used, bookmark this page and read this policy periodically. 


You may change any of your information in your account by sending an e-mail to us at the e-mail address set forth below.  You may request deletion of your information by us, but please note that we may be required (by law or otherwise) to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements).  When we delete any information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives.
